If you are looking to complete a set of medals/tokens
struck by one of the Lovetts this is where to start! He was also
apprenticed to his father in 1835 and appears to have worked out of his
shop with his brother George. Later he is listed on his own at No 1
Courtland Street as indicated by his storecards. The work that is
definitely attributed to him include his storecards, a series of
campaign medalets for Lincoln's 1860 campaign, and the anti-confederate
piece that is well-known to collectors of Civil War tokens.
